November in the desert is all about our lovely evenings and glorious night sky. November nights are a symphony of sounds. Cricket choirs and owl duets are a nightly occurrences, and the dark star studded sky emits a kind of silence that is almost a song in itself.
With pleasant day time temperatures, November is also a time to spot migrating creatures, especially birds, who have traveled hundreds or even thousands of miles to spend the winter months in a place where food supplies are abundant.
Take a walk at dusk and you might be accompanied by a bat or two flitting overhead. While you are looking up, search the heavens for the constellations and heavenly bodies coming into view.
